I got my HTA 90/22 assembled this week. Great instructions, good fit, no troubles, no problems.
I mounted a Pursuit, cheapo red/green dot sight on it and it is too high for a good cheek weld. It looks like the sight needs to be right down on the rail.
Does anyone know of a good, low sight that will mount on the top rail?

Hey Crash!

Thanks for your purchase and kind words!! We're very glad you like it!

We have run the Burris Fastfire on one of ours with good results- it's about as compact as you can get. Just one idea anyway. Please shout out some other ideas if you have any guys! Thanks again Crash!

Safe shooting,

Andy and the team at HTA

I use a mini red dot licensed by Sig Sauer. It came with the Sig Sauer Adaptive Carbine Platform. I got rid of the ACP and kept the mini red dot.

My friend uses a Vortex SPARC on his Beretta CX4.

Thanks for the replies, those look like good options. I just have to wait for the toy funds to recoup.
Are there any open site options that might work with the short rail?
Thanks again for your suggestions.

I have a Sightmark reflex sight on my FS2000. I'm very pleased with it and I will probably get another one when I purchase my 90/22.

Other than a fastfire all the cheaper open red dot sights will sit higher. The Bushnell TRS25 is a good choice for a very low micro red dot sight. I have a nikon 4x scope on mine and have no cheekweld issues.

Since this is going on a .22 with hardly any recoil.  I'm going with the inexpensive Sightmark  Ultra Shot.  I like that its has a reticle like that of the EOTech.

I put a Vortex SPARC on mine because I had one I wasn't using, and it can mount low on the rail.
If I was buying a new red dot, I might get a Bushnell TRS-25.  They seem to be about the most durable of the lower price RDSs.
