I didn't see any QD points molded into the stock.  What is everyone doing for front and rear sling mounts?

I really want to know if the urban ERT single/double point sling will work for this thing. Looks awesome on a ps90 but I know the dimensions are not completely the same as the 9022.

That is a pretty nice sling. It looks like it has ample strap length to accommodate the HTA 90/22 's exta length. It also looks as if it may come right over the rear safety button.

I bought one and here is what I found.

1.  The strap is just barely long enough to accomodate the extra length on the stock.  It must be modified for additional velcro loop on the back to allow fit up or sewn in place.  It would be nicer if it were about 2" longer.  I haven't decided which I am going to do or if I will return the sling.

2.  The buckle and strap does completely obscure the factory safety location so it will not be usable at all with this sling.

The front attachment point seems to work fine as designed

The Urban sling didn't work out because not only is the thumbhole strap short but it runs directly over the Ruger safety.

Here is an admittedly ghetto method that does.  Paracord, plastic barrel keepers, with a stock Magpul MS3.

I'd prefer an integrated solution like RJF uses molded into the stock.

Hold the phones guys.  I have a modified solution coming from Urban ERT Slings that eliminates the loop through the thumb hole that conflicts with the safety.  I'll post it up when I get it.  It sounds like it should work fine and provide a single point or double point sling.  It will be commercially available after we prove it out.

You can install a QD hole into the side of the receiver.

I installed one on my SCAR.

I checked with Urban ERT and they make this.

I wanted something more similar to their single point system.

The problem, they told me, is that the original P90 sling design would interfere with the Ruger crossbolt safety.

This is the new custom ERT solution specifically for the HTA 90/22

How does the ERT sling attach to the front of the HTA?

How does the ERT sling attach to the front of the HTA?

It loops around the stock and "magazine" well.  This is a very well made sling and works equally well as two point and single point.  I think Andy is selling them direct now.

Will you show me how you have the front harness adapter threaded? I have tried 2 ways and it always  works its way loose. I figured it out. It also took me awhile as a child to tie my shoes.

Great!

I'll take a picture if you need it.  I just thread it through the buckle 1st slot, over and through the second slot and thread the remainder back over the buckle (changing directions) through the first slot.  It doesn't come loose and it keeps the tail neat.

I surface mounted a Magpul QD on the stock and will use a rail mount QD when I finish the build. I was going to flush mount it, but the area with the best reinforcement didn't work. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
