I've got a little bit of wobble in my forend, specifically left to right wobble that's most noticeable when holding furthest out on the fore end and slightly twisting side to side.  Examining the assembly I can see some gaps which I have attached photos of on the back, are these gaps normal?  Also, in the photo looking down the forend you can see the round shaped plastic supports inside that contact the sidewalls of the forend, it would seem using something here may eliminate the wobble.  Has anyone tried using shims or something else?  I know I'm OCD but I go to great lengths to remove wobble form my AR's, for example O-ring between the upper and lower and loop velcro on the buffer tube.   Ty

Did you try reaching out to Manticore to ask them?

It’s not an issue with the handguard.
It’s an issue with the way it mounts to the rifle
And the rifles inherent flexing in that area

IWI “fixed” the flex on the x95 with the polymer
bushing that supports the handguard at the barrel

The Optimus handguard got the x95 is the only
rock solid handguard I’ve personally seen. It just
doesn’t move at all
