Hi all,
My buddy has a brand new X95.. he cleaned and lubed before hitting the range.
No matter what magazines he uses, the rifle fails to pick up a round from the magazine after the initial shot. It picks up a round without issue when manually racking it, but fails to pick up a new round on recoil. Factory, quality ammo is being used. Seems like the BCG isnt retracting far enough under recoil to pick up a round from the magazine.

Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

have you tried different mags - most common problem, second is not having cleaned out all the shipping grease.  if all ok, then pull the bolt and see if there might be any binding marks on bolt or inside receiver --- best I can do -- I have all SAR's --- I believe the new x-95 are also capable of going 300 blackout -- maybe someone there might chim in

As others have said, contact IWI.

If when you manually rack it & it picks up the next round but not when shooting it, sounds like the bolt is not coming back far enough to do its job.
