I just had my UTS serviced due to problems with the buckshot I was using not cycling properly.  Oddly enough, everything else worked perfectly, except buckshot.  Anyway, the guys took the gun back and repaired and test fired it sixty times.

They put an aluminum gearbox in it.  Is this the new gearbox that was an optional upgrade?

Thank you

It's the current gearbox being used, it's a magnesium aluminum alloy. I had mine changed out a while back. Smiley

Cool, thank you.  I was planning to do some of the upgrades later and that was one of them.  Thanks

Just took mine apart to attempt a trigger mode in which failed miserably and noticed that my gen 3 gear box was cracked around the sides and the bottom. I wrote utas today and they're setting me up to send it back for the aluminum gear box replacement, glad they're keeping up to date with the upgrades.
