Has anyone contacted UTAS and tried to get Gen 4 parts to upgrade their Gen 3 or earlier versions? I was hoping for a gen 4 trigger guard...

So I contacted UTAS and they said I couldn't buy parts to install on my own. They said I couldn't get a trigger guard and that I would have to send the shotgun in to them so they could swap out the parts. Forget all that, I decided to do a mod myself.

I decided I wanted the look of the gen4 trigger guard and a magpul grip. Time to get the grinder out! The original finish on the gen3 trigger guard is horrible so I wanted to reshape the trigger guard and paint it matte black. The magpul grip does not fit the original mounting location so I took some material off the trigger guard for a flush fit. I sanded down all the edges and faces of the trigger guard and tapped the original screw hole to accommodate the magpul hardware. Here are some pics.

Here is the final product all back together. I like the look and feel. I beveled the square edges of the trigger guard where it meets the bottom of the grip for extra comfort.
