Several years ago a company named Monolith Arms produced a fore grip for the FS2000 reminiscent to the PS90 fore grip.
It was very popular with FS2000 owners.
The grips were made for a brief period by Monolith arms.
They were acquired by Magpul, but they were never put back into production.

Now Red Jacked has come out with their new ZK22 which is a drop in bull pup stock for the 10/22.
This stock sports a PS90 style fore grip.

Maybe with enough encouragement Red Jacket would consider making their own FS2000 fore grip based on their ZK22

I wonder if there was a patent on that?

I loved the Monolith P-12, but I could see where it might would be infringing on the PS90 patents...

I never heard any indication that the Monolith arms fore grip had any patent issues.
And the general shape is generic enough that there shouldn't be a problem there as evidenced in the ZK22 fore grip.
So whats to stop them from making a ZK22 style fore grip fro the FS2000?

I agree about the fore grip.

I was thinking of the top loading P-12 magazine...

Did someone say top loading? Anyway, Your not infringing on a patent if you make any changes what so ever to a design. If you change something by an inch its not the same.

This was the Monolith P-12 prototype from years ago.
Magpul bought it out, and no word since...

Funny, I designed all this stuff and people are still talking about it years later.
By the way Magpul had me redesign the FS2000 VF1 and VF2 when I got there and
then decided they didn't want to pursue it (basically because it wasn't for an AR-15).
However the design changes made it feel better. My boss there still owes me $20.00
on a bet that the first prototype wouldn't fit the gun (and it did). You can look up the
Patent that has my name listed under Magpul (#D614,722) issued April 9,2010.

They still own the P-12. I was told "we can't find a use for it". The KSG was released 2
years after that conversation. I can't say much...but there's "talks" involved with it.
