Any chance we'll see an 18" barrel?

16" and 20" seems to cover the vast majority. If I wasnt on the pre-order and already have a down payment on the Desert Tech MDR, I would be all in for a K&M.

I used to be on the preorder as well but luckily I had had a fair amount of trigger time with my m17s so when the call for down payments went out I backed out in favor of the 7.62 model from Ken.

That's the 20" barreled model, correct? Am I crazy to want the 16"? I think it looks better. But needs to be OD!

Get what ever you like. The .308 will be a bit blasty in the 16inch version. There is a lot of powder to burn in those .308 cases. The longer barrel gives you more velocity and range. Shorter barrels can be more accurate than longer ones due to their stiffness, but the longer barrels will give you much better ballistics.

Yes that is a production 308 20" barrel model.  I have given priority pre-order emails out already to the first 100 customers as promised.  This week I will start sending out batches of emails to others that have signed up for notification.

I prefer the 16" model myself that is why you are buying a bullpup, but there was an outcry for a longer barrel option so that is why there is a 20" option also.

The cost for the 308 will be $1999

Yeah I like the look of the 16" Barrel version Better too

The 20" barrel just hangs out there naked without a longer handguard. I prefer would prefer a 20" with a longer handguard (more real estate to attach bi-pods etc and to spread out more when prone).

I had an old school Bushmaster M17s back in the day. Made me go mmmeh  yawning so I sold it. The new K&M looks sick, especially the .308

Ken said his rifle would be in our/your hands before DT's and it looks like it will.

I missed getting my m17/556 SN but hopefully I will pick one up before the election!

I'd really like a 16" barrel but I understand blasty. I have a socom 16 and it's not blasty at all. Due to muzzle device?
