Hi Ken,

Those pics you posted of the Arizona desert on the K&M Arms Facebook Page, yesterday, brought me back ---

I was reminded to one of my favorite haunts: that vast rugged area of open desert east and west of the Pinal Pioneer Parkway, south of Florence and north of Oracle Junction. An ideal firearm for that rough terrain, then and now, would be your upcoming M17S, with the optional 20" - 22" barrel, chambered for today's 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge, finished in Desert Digital Camo or FDE ---

And, when Hornady comes to see the light, and gives our shooting world a Hornady head-stamped 6.5mm SAUM, all that's needed is to open up your beefy 3-lug triangular bolt and the chamber.

The big question: Will you be offering your .308-length M17S in 6.5mm Creedmoor?

Thanks for the fond memories!

Still testing and making changes.  Then more testing will be required.  If you want to be kept up to date shoot me a email and I will add yo to my list for email notifications.  I have not been sending out notifications until I am going to be ready for production.

Waiting for this rifle is like the old days of dial up internet porn. The longer you wait to see the glory the more antsy you get to wanting to get your rocks off. That said I am confident Kens final product won't disappoint. It never does.

Hi Ken,

I've been reading about your .308 version, and am really looking forward to it becoming available for sale. Since I live in California, a version with a 20" barrel would be greatly appreciated, since Ca law mandates rifles with at least a 30" OAL. Looking to do long range shooting with it, so the longer barrel is ideal. Thanks

I believe Ken stated that he might make the barrel length an option. I live in Maryland and have the same problem. We are hoping the new Republican gov might help fix that but he has more important issues to fix like balancing the states budget that is currently in debt since the last governor. You might also be able to chose the color too BTW.

My fantasy is a left-handed .308.  That's the option I'm praying becomes a reality.  ~33% of shooters are left-eye dominant, so I would argue it's a sound business decision.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocular_dominance

Keep up the phenomenal work, Ken!   Smiley

Saw some Pictures on The Firearm Blog from the Bullpup Shoot, I see Ken is playing around with beefy dual ejectors!

I couldn't find The Firearm Blog Bullpup Shoot-2015 link. However, I did find this pic of the K&M Arms M17S7.62 Bolt face, with dual ejectors, on (http://www.gunsandtactics.com/bullpup-shoot-2015) (Scroll about two-thirds down the Page) ---

(I could picture this husky bolt harnessing a short-action magnum cartridge)
