We have just found out that there is Gen.1 and Gen2 KSGs.These extended switches fit the Gen.1. The Gen.2 has a small rounded steel pin under the factory switch when removed. We will have the Ge.2 extended switches ready in 2 weeks. If you got one of these and it doesn't work contact me.My KSG is only a few months old and it works on mine.EDIT I have found out now I have a Gen.2! I think this works on both Gens.If you have one and it doesn't work let me know!

Did a year long Test and Eval of the KSG and was not i,pressed by it.  Accuracy was good, it handles well and I loved the size but.....  It broke four times!!  I ran approximately 1000 rounds of 00 Buck, Slugs and various field loads.  Sry but the reliablity of this shotgun is not good enough to you to defend anything and stake your life or anyone elses on.

Welcome Ronin!  But I disagree!!  I have run thousands of rounds through mine, and have yet to have an issue.

Kel-Tec has great customer service.  If you got a lemon, send it in!!!

Okay,The top pic is the Gen.1 KSG and the bottom is the Gen2. I have now figured out I have a Gen.2 KSG and this extended selector switch works perfect on mine!

I have the new GEN2 switches! The one on the left is for Gen1 and the one on the right is for GEN2. The GEN2 has the added detent for the pin.To clear up any confusion the second pic is of my GEN2 KSG with the switch off.If yours doesn't look like this it's a GEN1.

I have shot slugs with the Muzzle Brake on and my friend shot slugs out of it at the Bullpup Challenge.I think it shoots great. The sad thing is I can't remember if I shot the KSG with slugs before I put it on.Sounds like I should do a test! blasting
