I created this site to try and cover the Bullpup "spectrum", and do it in a positive way.  And so far, there hasn't been the negative vibe so often found in other forums.

and your doing a great job  Wink  the folks here seem like genuine like minded people who luv bullpups Cool

I paid for an order 2 weeks ago after my local gun shop showed me the product online. I wished he would've given me the caveats I'm reading here! My question is why doesn't he do a limited production of 500 instead of 1000 and raise the price point accordingly? He would have the first generation of product out there for evaluation and, judging from the interest in the product,  he would have credibility and capitol for the next batch of product.

He hasn't done that because, at this point, this is a scam. Bjorn just moved from Utah to Vegas. But the Kushnapup business license wasn't moved. Dosen't take a rocket scientist to put this one together.

Well the first quarter of 2012 has come and passed, the discontent is manifesting and more and more e-mails are being posted online. The facebook account was deleted and he has moved to Vegas? I need to get some popcorn and sit back and watch. This is one of the more interesting things I have seen.

Sgt P, in no way was i attacking you or your site. I just made a point.  I do find it interesting you created this site and originally i just joined to gripe about Bjorn but I am becoming fascinated with the bullpups.

I have been in contact with Police Dept. in Herber City and they have checked on this guy and unable to locate him DL has been expired sence Jan. this yr and shows him transfering it but dosent say where. The city of Herber also dosent have a manufactoring company in it. They told me if anyone wonts to complain or report no product or no refund to call thier office at 1-435-654-3040 and they will in turn report all cases to the Attorney General they also advised everyone should try to get refund if possible they belive this may be a scam.

Just spoke with Bjorn by phone.

He is definately passionate about his product and frustrated to say the least.

That said, our phone call did not go well, as he is angry at me (bloggers) for "stalking him".  He said all the information is on his web-site, and that his life savings is in this as well, along with some "choice" words, then hung up on me.

After he hung up on me, I called him back and left a message.  We'll see if he wants my help, or keeps us updated as to what is going on with his product.

Ok...I'm new to this subject but this sounds like a scam.
Tell if I'm making a mistake, but his P.O. box is in Utah on his contact page.
And his web registry comes up with a California address and a 310 phone#, which is a Los Angeles#.
Weird....

I don't know what is going on...

This is purely a guess, and strictly my opinion: It seems to me that there were prototypes, and obviously a market, to pave the way to a successful product.  And Bjorn isn't/wasn't hiding (whois, etc), but is really bad at communicating with his customers and potential market.  Which leads me to believe he probably had issues with venders, production, and manufacturing (none of which are easy), and got into trouble, and is in over his head.  Again, this is just a guess on my part, but it would explain alot.

My hope for Kushnapup has gone.  I think it would take a miracle for this product to see the light of day...   Cry

Well you have given him the benifit for awhile and have tried to help him out in this matter and its not your fault at all he has decided to communicate with his customers in the maner he has. Maybe if it was problems with the manufacturers or the venders and he would have told everyone in a timley maner and not stopped all emails on updateds until they wrote him first things could have ended up better but when you use the lagugae he uses and the constant missed due dates he has brought this on himself. I know it takes time to produce product but not 2 plus yrs and what anywhere from $250,000.00-$500,000.00 in preorders over that time this really dosent look good to anyone and if it is what you say then he should refund everyones money without them even asking for it, its called good buisness.

Well, the website now says that the factory did something wrong in production and caused a blemish. It also says it will ship this week. Maybe Ive been wrong up to now, but he's promised one more week three times.

Hello gents, this is my first post.  I literally got a Saiga 12 today and was about to place my order for this Kushnapup but decided to investigate a bit more.  Good thing I did and ran across this site.  I definitely think I will wait on ordering until someone actual gets their hands on one.   I remember I went through a similar experience with ordering a laser.  It was over 6 months before I got mine but the company was courteous and continually posted videos of the thing in action.  That is pretty crazy if people ordered this stock almost 2 years ago.

Can anyone recommend any bullpup alternatives for a Saiga 12?  I'm also in the market for a AUG or STG 556 and 10/22 bullpup, so I'll cruise the site and see what you guys have to say!

Welcome!

None that i know of for the Saiga 12 atm and the only 10/22 bullpup readily available is the muzzlelite(you can find pics and reviews on it in the rimfire section).

But.....

Juggernaut Tactical, the company that makes the "Rogue" Bullpup stock for the M14/M1A (check out the M14 section for more on them) is planning on making a 10/22 bullpup stock, and i THINK Dino said they are looking at doing one for the Saiga in the future, but if i remember right its about 4th on the list.  Maybe Rogue(a member of this site that designed the "Rogue" Stock) will notice this thread and either confirm or deny this alligation Wink

Sweet! I could always use another 10/22 bullpup.
It will give me something new to play with while I wait for a bullpup Saiga 12.

"Freedomfighter" or "Feedomfighter" both used in other forums, has already been outed as Bjorn.
This is nothing new. Everyone already knows you built a Gen. 1 prototype that didn't hold up to the stress of use, and that's probably what we're looking at here. In fact, I'd be willing to bet this video was made right before the video of the guy in the trench coat.

Just ship, or refund, stop messing with people.
