I traded my RH bolt for a LH bolt and was old on Facebook to contact IWI for a real barrel wrench. Well here it is:

No charge. The wrench will come with spare bolts and conversion kits.

Do you have a pair of calipers to measure that and post it?

The one I got from Dlask arms look very similar, but also costs me $35.  Ironically I don't actually have a use for it yet I'm still waiting on my IDF to be shipped so I can do work on it.

I was seconds away from ordering when I got a email reply from IWI. I like their idea and would prefer if IWI had made a similar tool or just used a more common pattern like TORX or Hex. The wrench  is beefy as hell tho.

Id like to see  Gear Head or someone else turn the wrech into a bit I could use with a socket by cutting in down at the spot marked on the pic below.

I can send you one and you can measure it yourself.

Pretorian,
This would be great. I'm working on my free float and may want to press off the charging handle barrel band. I'll send you a PM.

To be honest, it's odd that we didn't get one with our purchase.

Old post I know but they do now as Melissa at Cope's said it does and so said a few owners as well.  IWI probably just includes em with the newer batches of rifles now.

Barrel wrenches are supplied with after-market bolts and caliber conversion kits. They do not come with every rifle.

Confused. Why do you need to remove the barrel if you're just swapping the bolt?

There is a dust protection plate forward of the gas tube that must be reversed for opposite side cocking. The cocking rod passes through a hole in the plate.

The only way to reverse the plate is after removing the barrel.

Ahh so not to replace the bolt per say, but to switch the charging handle for left handed operation. Gotcha.

If you google "Tavor Barrel Wrench" there is a company in canada that sells them for $20 USD and will ship to the US. That's how I got mine.
