Tavor evolution...

 Shocked

So that's a back up rifle for a Sniper?

...epic use for one.

(And you multicam'd the **** out of the gear. Nice. The rifle is still strangely and easily recognizably black.)

Hey All,

I've been looking around the forum for a few months now and just joined today.   Here is my project.
Thanks for helping provide me with the inspiration for a few of the add-ons.

Jon

Pretorian, Whats that little hook thing, that's in the front right side, above the grippod?Huh?, and do you use the cheek weld for when you're looking thru the reflex sight, or both sights?Huh?
BTW, whats your feed back on that cheek weld, your using?Huh??

Pretorian, Whats that little hook thing, that's in the front right side, above the grippod?Huh?,

It's a hand stop:http://www.fab-defense.com/en/category-foregrips/id-700/versatile-tactical-support.html
I had two pairs of gloves destroyed by the flash of the 13 inch barrel... Roll Eyes

and do you use the cheek weld for when you're looking thru the reflex sight, or both sights?Huh?

Both . I rotate my head slightly forward to get full field of view in the ACOG and slightly backward to pick up the red dot.

BTW, whats your feed back on that cheek weld, your using?Huh??

It is an existing AR15 cheek rest I modified to fit the X95:http://www.fab-defense.com/en/category-buttstocks/id-706/adjustable-cheek-rest-kit-for-glr-16.html
I need a higher cheeck weld even with standard height sights.
I also use different optics that require different head location above the stock.
So, it serves me well.

Here's mine so far. I'm planning to get it cerakoted and change out the trigger. I also haven't decided on the optics but I'm hoping to get out this week and check it out with an Aimpoint, eotech, and 1-4x scope.

My newest and by far coolest toy.  I have the battlecomp 1.5 on the muzzle till I can figure out why the Flex Swivel isnt stopping as much back pressure as I was told.  Still a sweet weapon and wouldn't hesitate to walk into a fight with it

My 16" FDE showed up at the LGS today.  I'm using a Leupold 2.5x Ultralight scope in Warne Ultra High QD rings sitting on a YHM rail section to start out with.  Twenty round Magpul magazine in matching FDE.

Off to the range tomorrow.  I'll try to decide on a sling later.

I think I'm in love.  Cheesy

How much are supressors?

That's a tough question.

In my County in NC:

$75 - Paperwork to form a Trust, I know a local FFL who does this (My Sheriff is "no sign" so the Trust has to own the suppressor)
$200 - Tax Stamp fee (Around 9 months to get the paper work back - then you actually get the suppressor)
$750 - plus or minus for the actual suppressor (It ships to the FFL who holds it until tax stamp paperwork arrives)

So - about 9 months wait and around $1000 bucks up front
