Prairie Dog hunting 5.25.13. Tavors worked fantastic out to 250-300+ yards.  Both of us had 3x scopes.  My 20" 308 at my feet for the really long stuff  Cheesy

A little more Tavor porn: I added a NV scope to the end of the Leupold MRT 1.5-5x20mm.  It's really for my .308, but I couldn't resist seeing how the Tavor looked wearing it.

Sorry about the crappy cell phone pic.

EDIT: yeah, it royally screws up the balance of the rifle...

Just got my fde 16.5 today I put a comp m2 and a surefire light. I also fired 150 5.56 through it with a mix of hk,20 round gi mags,30 round brownells gi mags, and the factory mag I did have 1ftf with winchester 5.56 but lake city 855 ball ran flawlessly

Not gonna judge, but guys, if you put loaded mags in your weapon, keep it on safe.

Weapon isn't loaded. But was on "fire" mode right out of the bag.  Amazingly light and fun.
Just got it, not too many rounds yet. Friday....

There is a guy in my hometown that used to restore surplus trainers. He had an ejection seat sitting outside his shop and I asked about it. I wanted to do something like this with it. Sadly I was too young and poor to afford what he wanted for it.  Sad
