^^^^Lovin the Wilson case!^^^^  Now that is covert as long as you are wearing tennis garb.

My wife makes me play tennis when I'm home, so I've got a blue case just like that.

The only thing not covert is the fact that tennis rackets don't weigh that much.   The sag will give you away every time!  LOL  I'm just messing with you.  Nice choice, especially for vehicle travel.

It is great for getting in and out of vehicles, and quick access in vehicles once you're in.  If I hold it just right with the strap over my shoulder it doesn't sag lol.  That was a consideration, but most people don't notice anything anyway.

Airborne,

I was wondering if someone would do the Storm vs the Peli.  I have a Peli 1700, but I do like the extra latches on the Storm.  Nice choice!

My Vortex Viper PST 1-4x24 came in today and I got it mounted. Gonna take it out tomorrow and sight it in and put some rounds through it to test it out. Didn't really get to shoot it last weekend due to GearHead not having his $#!% in order. lol I'll give a review on the optic as well. I picked it up at SWFA and thanks to Jon telling me about the scope and mount package I got a good deal on it.

Here is my Tavor with its quiet companion. The FDE Tavors look nice but once you go black, you never go back.  Wink I didn't like the looks of the pencil barrel with the suppressor mounted so I made a barrel shroud to cover the barrel.

How did you attach the barrel shroud to the barrel?

I used a solid piece of 7075-T6 aluminum and bored out the inside but left the front end about 3/16" thick and drilled a 1/2" hole through it. I removed the flash hider and lock nut, slid it over the barrel and used the new flash hider to tighten down on it to hold it in place. The back end fits inside the hand guard so it looks clean, not like it was added on.

So your shroud is sandwiched between the barrel's shoulder and your AAC mount?  The fwd end of the shroud will act like a shim/spacer for the AAC mount?

Yep just replaced the lock nut with the shroud since the flash hider didn't need to be indexed. If it had to be indexed I'd use steel and thread the barrel shroud and cut wrench flats on the front of it.

Nivek,

Your weapons look great and you did a really nice job with the barrel shroud.

Just print the photo and put on your front door.  No need for an alarm system.

Picked up my 16.5" FDE Tavor on Saturday, got it home and put the EOTech EXPS3-2 on top.  The BUIS co-witness perfectly, too.  Looking forward to some range time soon! Smiley

Cheers,

I'll give it a shot later this afternoon - not sure how well it will turn out trying to focus on the rear sight and the reticle at the same time (I assume you're interested to see how it cowitnesses?), but I'll see what I can do fer ya! Smiley

Cheers,

Two items. First, GO REDWINGS!!! Second, my eotech sight picture looks "Super Grainy" compared to that pic. Is that just the photo making the reticle look that good, or is there something seriously wrong with my EOtech?

P.S. I also mounted my eotech on my tavor as well. The new Magpul ms4 sling rocks too!
