Bought a Geissele Super Sabra Lightning Bow Trigger for my Tavor:

FYI... Not sure if I would use the lightning bow with that single stage Timney trigger. The two stage design of the Geissele and Shooting sight hammer packs allow the use of the lightning bow safely. You loose the heavy trigger spring when installing the lightning bow. The factory trigger spring is the factory drop safety. You don't need it with a two stage design due to the engineering built into those style triggers.

The overlapping style two stage design will actually grab the hammer off the primary sear if the rifle is dropped. You have no such safety with Timney's single stage design. You don't have the factory drop safety or the two stage trigger safety of the geissele/shooting sight hammer packs.

Just want to make sure you are aware of the differences. Wink That puppy will surely go off when dropped if you install that lightning bow with the Timney. Get yourself one of Art's Shooting Sight trigger although he doesn't recommend the lightning bow with it either. You best bet would be to sell the Timney and buy a Geissele hammer pack.

Great looking rig. I love the short razorback rail. It makes accessing the charging handle so much easier. I will never go back to the stock rail You just need an IDF front sight and back up rear.

I think it might be Canada-only for now. It's about $350ish Cdn. It is a very nice handguard, isnt it?

Ended up throwing a 16.5 inch barrel and bolt kit on. I bought it from Stonia on this forum. He is a great guy to buy from... I got a 16.5 inch kit with matching bolt and wrench from him for $350 which included 2 day shipping.

I also put a VG6 Gamma compensator on it. It wanted a shorter comp that wouldn't extend the length to much. I am very pleased with the set up now. I have an 18 barrel with a TA11 for DMR style shooting, and now have a 16.5 inch with a Trijicon MRO on it.

I just need to buy another Gearhead rail so I can swap barrel and optics as one unit. Thanks for the deal Stonia.

Carry handle LOL

OK, first, I'm sober. I want to state that for the record before saying this: that's actually kinda sexy in a really kinky way. Fitted with something like the carry handle LaFrance that had the front and rear sight  in it for the M16K it wouldn't be bad up close. Not as fast as having an RDS, but not bad.

As is, I'm pretty sure the front sight isn't even close to lining up with that rear. Unless we're trying to zero at 1000 or so.  Grin
