First post, first bullpup. I picked mine up this weekend at a gun show, after hearing some rave reviews from freids who have them already. I've ordered the Mepro-21 (triangle ret.) and am debating my light options still. So, it's as-is from the box, along with my two favorite ARs and my favorite pistol. And while I do expect to enjoy the Tavor, I have a lot of time with my number 1 (center rifle, the BCM build w/Aimpoint PRO) so it will remain to be seen if it unseats it as my go-to. The OAL certainly gives it a boost in that direction...

Here it is in a pile of other goodies, with a 40-rd P-Mag. Unwieldy IMO in the ARs, but it could be a winner with the Tavor.  Grin

Just picked this up along with the 9mm kit.

its one heavy SOB, but balances very well with the suppressor.  All told you are looking at 12+lbs of carbine.

For anyone interested, here is the breakout of weights:

Eotech EXPS-3 - 11.2oz
Eotech G33 Magnifier - 11oz
Surefire 620V - 6.8oz
AAC M4-2000 Suppressor  - 18.6oz
Magpul Pmag with 30rd M855 - 17.6 oz
Tavor w/AAC FH - 8lbs, 4.8oz

Total weight - 12lbs, 5.8oz

It balances well and makes for a very soft shooting platform, but 12lbs is still 12lbs.

With Aimpoint T1, Surefire 620V, and 30rd mag it runs 10lbs, 3.2oz.

Just something to consider when you start hanging things off the Tavor.

I submit for your pleasure...

My TAVOR IDF16

Notice the IDF sling is attached with paracord. Also notice the little pocket on the sling which is for ear plugs. People ask me all the time. I also have the IDF mag attachment for off duty use with CAA mags (made in umm, M'erica  Roll Eyes) Attached is a Powertac white light with pressure switch. Comes standard with the "MEFRO" (mepro) sight.

All I got to do is get it more scratched up and dirty to look like an IDF piece.

Enjoy

My IDF 16" Tavor... in IDFish trim....

Looks good, the elastic cord on my mag thing (technical term) broke in 5 minutes. I used para cord for mine. How is yours holding up? Glad I'm not the only one who IDF'd my Tavor.

Here's a few lousy phone pics. Put the T-Rex rail(Bullpup Armory) on to attach the grip/by-pod. The rail is truly outstanding. Fits perfectly and looks great.
Went with a 1x4 powered scope with the added attachment to turn it easier. Still has an illuminated reticle.     Leatherwood 1-4x24 CMR Tactical 30mm Rifle Scope.  Burris QD mount.
Tavor shoots great. Reliable. Some gasses out the side but not a deal breaker. Trigger is fine. Very well pleased.

Just got her yesterday. This evening will be her maiden voyage to the range.

The FLEx port cover and rail logo cover will be in tomorrow. Still need to pic up an RDS, 3X magnifier, sling, LUMA ambi safety and a cerakote job. She is a work in progress but I think she's already quite the looker!
