Got x95 18" as trade, already have x95 16" ( it will say in photos x95trade vs x95mine)
1. differences in color: does it look like prior owner painted black version to OD green?
2. also bolt is different
3. mag release is painted, paint quality is good, besides on corners of mag well.
4. charging handle is different
my s/n starts with T004, traded starts with T200

also looking for ideas what to do w/2nd tavor:
1. get 9mm kit
2. get 300blk kit
3. trade to tavor7?

Yeah, the 18" was definitely painted.

The mechanical differences are just differences in time. The bolt, BCG and cocking rod are all just parts that have been upgraded over time by IWI. They went to the double ejectors some time ago due to customer demand. The cocking rod was also changed to the hinged variety and is what comes on all new X95s now. I'm not sure when that cut was deleted from the BCG, but what you have will work fine.

I say just go shoot it and enjoy one of the best guns available.

Also, your trade bolt carrier with no cuts I believe is the newer one that they standardized for the 5.56/300 blackout. Does your top rail on the trade in have an opening/hole in the top where you would adjust for suppressor use on the 300 BO?

Yes, that keynod/keyhole cut out in your trade in top rail is where the regulator would be accessed. That is now also the “standardized” top rail.
