My FD12

« on: September 16, 2020, 08:55:54 PM »

I have the Black Aces Bullpup FD12, and I need to clean it. Removing the charging handle is the part I'm stuck on. I watched videos on youtube on how to dissemble the FD12, and looks like it should pull off easy. But mine won't budge no matter how much/hard I pull. I contacted the dealer who sold it to me and he said to get a flathead screwdriver and try to "wedge" it loose. But it looks like the charging handle is "attached", and I don't want to break it. Any advice?

If anyone has a picture of what it should look like after the charging handle is removed, that might help too. Thanks.

Actually nevermind. I figured it out. The part about the screwdriver, I put it on the other side and popped the charge handle out.

Is it possible to put the charging handle on the opposite side?

Yes, its ambidextrous. Can go on either side.

You got a hold of B aces?  LOL!  I've reached out to them regarding parts/ mods... no luck.  You have a line on parts? Looking for a much longer safety lever.... love my FD-12 semi-auto 10rds of badass home defense... surprised they are not more popular.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cheers - HD
