Having second thoughts about buying this rifle... Love it, but if parts aren't readily available.... make this thing a door-stop.
Looking to order a BPK and zero stock anywhere??  Contacted IWI directly and Colin, (useless) provided zero help with no eta on when parts may arrive.  Suppliers list kit is on a 3 - 6 month back-order.  Absurd!  Anybody know who may have this kit in-stock?

I have a Daewoo AR100 (K2) and its has yet to bow to being a door stop.   A lot of SAR rifles sold in the USA ... certainly one or two will turn up for parts.   Point is, glad I did not pass on it because of readily available parts.

Stepping back, I'm not even sure Bullpups in general have readily available parts.    Been awhile since I've been through a local gun shop ... but AR15 screams consideration, absolutely seen each of those shops with readily available parts - build a couple of rifles right there.   I have not seen this for any bullpup.

The "green" (see photo) bumper part, (I'm told) may get mushy and need to be replaced.  When this occurs, the weapon is essentially useless... (a door-stop).  This is precisely what's happened with my SAR.

I can buy bolt kits from thousands of sources for my AR any day of the week.  If it takes 3 - 6 months to obtain this part?  Totally unacceptable in my book, thus the SAR will go on the auction block!

I had no idea these parts were out of stock.  I purchased the bolt parts kit and some other parts from IWI not that long ago and saw the parts available several places including GunBroker.  Must have been a run on them just like the run on purchasing firearms!!!  I found a place in Canada which doesn't ship to the US so that was a no go.

How many rounds have you shot to have worn out the little green part?  Just curious.

Rumor has it that some have replaced that rubber bumper under the extractor with an ar15 spring. Try giving Jeremy Gresham a buzz. If your weapon is down, he can probably get you a rubber bumper from the non e-store side.

The rifle has exactly 233 rounds through the tube.  I have a ACOG mounted on it and this rifle is really enjoyable to shoot. The accuracy is amazing.

Appreciate the interest, feedback and assistance!

Barely over 200 rounds? Must be a faulty part. I've got well over 2k rounds through mine without issue thus far.

Uh, yeah. I have over 2000 rounds without an issue.
