So Iíve been bored lately and decided I want to eventually experiment with painting some of my firearms. So I figured why not try my hand at it. Here is a test that I did. Let me know if I need to resize the photos or something. Uploading from my iphone.

I did it this morning. I think it looks cool. It's just a toy, but I might eventually replicate it on my AR.

The only question that really matters, Frost...are you happy with it?  Don't worry what someone else thinks, are you pleased with it?

That said, I think it looks good.  I'm not into painting guns, just not my thing, but this looks good.

Yeah, it's not something I would typically be interested in, but this endless lockdown has got me crawling up and down walls at this point, lol. Gotta find ways to keep my brain busy. Anyway, I do dig it. Not sure I wanna commit to spraying a real firearm yet, but maybe the ol' RDB or Tavor could use a new look. Hmm. If this lockdown continues much longer, that might just happen. By the way Kfeltenberger, check your PM when you get the chance.

Airsoft rifle?

Camo looks good. One thing to consider...many times you paint a rifle...it takes its value down...regardless if its spray or cerakote (unless OEM cerakote option)...

So make sure you love the rifle and its a keeper before spraying...

I was wondering what it was, too.  It's been years, well, more than a few years, since I saw an AR with an ARMS SIR rail system on it.

Kfeltenberger, would I be able to get your opinion on a sketch I made for a design? I can send it to you via PM.
