So after much confusion and consternation, I finally received my copy of 40 Jahre StG 77/STEYR AUG.  Glancing through it, what should I find documented on page 342 but a .22lr conversion for the AUG.  Why have these not been exported to the US?  I would love to have one along with a slew of magazines.

Boy I'd be all over one of those.  Probably couldn't afford it either.

I’d love one. Would also love the 9mm kit but that’s out of my price range currently. Where I live shooting 5.56 is probably annoying to my neighbors so I don’t shoot much but .22 or subsonic 9mm would be much more quiet

That’s on the list with some other AUG goodies that have me saying two things:
1) #%!*, I’d love to have that!
2) #%!*, I wonder what that costs!

Agree with the above.

Steyr USA is unfortunately somewhat limited by what Steyr Austria does.
