Maybe a dumb question....

On page 33 of the AUG SA manual, number 5 states, "Apply 1 drop of oil onto the locking piece".  Is it directing me to place a drop onto the locking piece to lube it as it slides into the bolt carrier, or is it directing me to place a drop on the teeth of the locking piece, where it meshes with the bolt?  I know I can lube both spots, but I was curious where the manual is directing.  The arrow looks like it's pointing more towards the teeth than towards the bolt carrier.
