Just picked up my new X95 from my local FFL. Took it home to just inspect it and learn about it. I noticed the charging handle has excessive play up and down even locked. Tried googling and watching YouTube videos but havenít seen anyone mention it. Attached is a YouTube link of what Iím experiencing. Can any other X95 owners confirm if this is normal or not?

It looks like you have one with the newer charging handle. I think thatís normal, mine is the old style.

Yep, I concur with those above, perfectly normal. Go use it like it was intended and have fun.

The articulated/curved charging handle is the original IDF design. The US X95ís initially had a fixed nub type non articulated charging handle that would lock and was tight. IWIís current X95ís now all come with the IDF type curved charging handle and barrel band that is required for the IDF type to function. The IDF type has more play in it which is normal. Make sure you clean all that packing preservative off and lube before shooting. The preservative gets gummy as it heats up.
