Moderators, I could not find a political section.  If this should not be here, please move it to a proper section.

SCOTUS ruled, in Heller, and it easily found that handguns and longarms that were commonly owned by the people across the nation are within the scope of the term “arms” and thus constitutionally protected to civilian ownership.  This was in 2008 after the original AR ban had expired.  The SCOTUS Heller ruling gives good standing that says an AR ban is unconstitutional.

This article was published by The Tennessee Star and really gives very good information for all of us on the Second Amendment.

probably should be in general - but also remember the import ban.  That could easily be put back in since it does not go against the 2nd

Whether or not things are "unconstitutional" means nothing to the communists who hate and actively seek to obliterate the Constitution. They will pass the laws they want anyway and use the threat of government to force compliance.

Throughout all history, there has been one class of people who have been ordinarily prohibited from bearing arms: slaves.

This why it is important for Trump to be reelected.  He has already appointed two conservative SCOTUS justices with the possibility of more and over 150 conservative justices to the Federal court system including three (?) to the Ninth.

From my cold dead hands.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure,” Jefferson wrote in a letter to William S. Smith, a diplomatic official in London, on November 13, 1787. ... “God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion,” Jefferson remarked.
