M1A 8 out of 8
AR10 7 out of 8
MDR 6 out of 8
BRN10 5 out of 8
SCAR 4 out of 8
G3 3 out of 8
FAL/XCR-M 1/2 out of 8

InRange notes...MDR has a sharp recoil and over-gassing...which has been proven to hurt follow up shots...continues not to make top 3 place yet...they much prefer the 5.56 verson. Looking at how the Tavor 7 recoils from the videos I've seen...it is much smoother...can't wait for a MDR to T7 head to head match up.

G3 was a surprise to me...

XCR-M continues to dominate this test...the under dog...love it. FAL has is very smooth shooter with a decent trigger...

Unsurprising, lower recoil with a good trigger wins.

Think about it, in competitive shooting what matters is:
  • recoil (speed to get back on target),
  • trigger (weight and reset),
  • reload speed,
  • and reliability.

Accuracy is a shooter thing. Except for precision long range matches, even a 4 MOA gun can be more accurate than the shooter.
