Thought I'd let you all know that a small amount of TA31i have made it to the US for sale.

I picked one up...this is ***NOT*** my ad...I am just sharing, if you want to kit out your Tavors with a proper Isreali ACOG w/o breaking the bank too much.

I contacted him and have one on the way. I'm not trying to create a replica, but this would be a nice touch and an ACOG at this price ain't bad.

He ships fast...I am not cloning either...but when the opportunity knocks on a door to get a legit Isreali ACOG at price of a quality red dot...well...its a no brainer...enjoy it. Glad someone on here will get one too.

I scored a mount off ebay for $29 shipped new...and caps for $30 of optics planet...

I ordered the caps from Trijicon; $20 plus a ridiculous $10 shipping.

I'm going to keep looking for a mount, but I already have one on my TA33.

I'm excited to get this.

It showed up today.  Now I have to wait for the correct mount.  I can use the TA33 mount, but it's really too small.

I'm really happy with it. I was nervous, but it's in better shape than expected. Shipping was crazy fast.

Should have new mount and caps tomorrow.

I asked Trijicon if they could refresh the tritium. They wanted the sellers name and address. Weird.

Hmmm....I never cared for tritium power...dim tritium still shows up on NVGs if needed...

Not really a big deal for me. I just wanted a fully functioning optic. Probably not going to pursue. I've done some low light training. With a light, the tritium is superfluous.

Yeah my caps haven't shown up yet either. Trijicon is not nearly as fast at shipping.

It worked well at the range today. I zeroed it using the center of the circle as my aiming point. The circle seems to be 1mil. I have targets that are exactly 1 mil at 100 yards. The circle covered the target almost exactly.

The first group was high and to the right. Really high, about 12" up and 4" to the right. 30 clicks down and about 8 to the left put me pretty much on center at 100 yards. I need to go back another day to confirm.

Still, it worked well. I'm pretty sure I like the chevron better, but this is going to work just fine.
