Just picked up a black 16Ē 3x a3 m1. I think I know pretty much everything about the rifle but does anyone got some tips for the rifle? Hidden/easily missed features? Only put 1 mag through it so far but Iím loving it ^.^

CONGRATS. There are a few good videos on YouTube,( you can check my channel bcmarshall3285) and if you register with Steyr Experience you get a free 2 day Steyr Academy AUG school at Talledega CMP.

I also picked up a OD Green A3 M1 from PJís. Pete really took care of me and itís  my favorite in my collection. One hundred rounds in it so far. I registered in the Steyr Elite Experience and they gave me a choice between two course options for the AUG in their Steyr Academy. Iím pretty stoked to go.

Thanks! Iíll be sure to get some pics up tomorrow. By chance do you know the height from the barrel to the 1.5/3x optic? Iím trying to figure out where I should zero to get a 300 yard zero. Does 25 yards work with this scope height? I donít have access to 300 yards, however. Where is yours zeroed?

I recommend a 50 yard zero (50/200). I can email you a target that has a holdover calculated into it that may help.

I thought it was 25/200 cause I was hitting steel at 200 then clays at 25 on the berm.

I will try and reshoot this.
