Hello everyone, I just joined and I just bought an M17s.

I haven't fired it yet but I do have a question.

The bolt catch on mine is broken.  To be clear-the "paddle" is missing but the lower part is still there and functions.

I have been looking on the internet for parts, but what I found is that particular part was sold out.

It looks very similar to a standard ar 15 bolt catch.

Can I use the ar 15 bolt catch?

Thanks.

Sorry you are out of luck.  Ar15 bolt catch is way different and will not work.  There are no replacement parts anywhere.  Your only chance is to find someone that is parting out a rifle that does not run.  I had one about 6 months ago that I parted out on gunbroker.  That bolt catch was one of the first to go.
