I chronographed my X95 556 with Federal American Eagle XM193 yesterday and got 3071 fps (SD 13.5) over 25yd. I zero'd to 100yd based on some ballistics calculations as shown in the attached picture. There was some mention that IWI recommends 75yd zero..

Red = 100yd
Green = 75yd
Blue = 50yd

The 75 yard zero makes a lot of sense with the super high scope height over bore on the X95. In my opinion, it gives the best compromise on POI over the distance 0-250 yards.

That said, I have mine zeroed at 100 yards for two reasons. First, we don't have a dedicated 75 yards range at my local gun club. So, the 100 yard distance is just easier. Secondly, the BDC reticle in my scope is calibrated for a 100 yard zero. When I zero at 100 yards, the BDC works pretty good out to 400 yards.

Even so, for me, the gun is a 200 yard and closer tool. The 100 yard zero keeps me within +/-1" from ~50 to ~200 yards. Get closer and it requires some hold over for precision shots, but that's easy.

That's why I zero the rifle 2ish inches high at 100 yards. 75-100 yard zero is the sweetspot for the Tavor/x95 platform, imo.
