Based on your experiences, what are your recommendations for 30 round .223 magazines for the keltec RDB?  Can any mag be left loaded for a month without ruining it? I would like to alternate between two mags swapping the ammo back and forth each month. This is my first .223 and my previous experience has been with a Remington 870 and a revolver. So any advise on magazine life would be appreciated as I need them loaded/yet reliable for flock protection and home defence .

So far the best 30rnd mag was......the 40rnd MAGPUL mag
It is fat and holds on under the follower spring tension

Second the recommendation for MagPul, especially the 40-round.  Works great, fits great.

Oddly, the RDB is the only time I've ever seen a GI 30-round fail.  It's too loose; failure to feed, failure of bolt holdopen.  It works great on every plastic mag I've tried on it, but chokes on the metal ones.
