Curious if anyone here has installed and used this?  For those who have shot the AUG suppressed with the normal gas regulator, how does that function.  Thinking of ordering, but if the original part works, not seeing the point....so thanks much for any insight.

Runs fine without special plug in regular gas , but cycles "softer" with suppressed plug in that mode. Some discussion on this back on Feb 28 if you want to search those posts.  I like it because it gives me three settings i can use. I never use "adverse" with the standard plug.

You could use the normal plug. But using it will unnecessarily beat up your internals. Way more gas than needed.

FYI:
ON the civi version the gas plug has 3 settings.
-normal
-adverse
-grenade

the suppressor plug has 3 settings.
-normal
-grenade
-suppressed

Normal is same position. The old adverse is now grenade. And the old grenade is now the suppressed setting.

When a suppressor is off. The gun will not run in the suppressed setting.

Newbie question here!!!

With the gas plug venting to atmosphere, then how successful is a silencer going to be, with gas, flame, noise coming out by the gas plug?

Again, I don't really know much about this, but it seems similar to me to trying to suppress a revolver, due to its gap between the cylinder and barrel.

You will get piston pop and a report when the round goes supersonic.
