Did you try Pete’s AUGS or Ratworx?

I did try Ratworx.

I did not try Pete because I need an MSAR firing pin, not an AUG one.

I know he is the AUG guy but I would not imagine him as having any MSAR parts???

Contact Promoted Pawn and see what they have in their parts bin. You might get lucky and score a firing pin.

I believe the firing pin for the MSAR and AUG are interchangeable. One of the few that are. There is a thread in the AR15.com armory section in their buildup forum that compared the Styer to the MSAR. Check this link.

Email PJ at pjs steyr aug’s he may have a factory Msar part laying around. Super nice guy!!  He would be the go to guy and would know which AUG parts are useable in the Msar. The AUG gas system parts are useable in the Msar.

I've been told by Ratworx that the AUG firing pins will work in the MSAR...they did add one FYI...Steyr changed the diameter ever so slightly to the larger side where it might be a snug fit into the MSAR bolt...but said a couple of passes with emory cloth and it should work...
