that is a steyr mannlicher (Austria) receiver marking on a new Steyr US built AUG M1. Steyr US had to bring in about 100 Austrian receiver castings from Steyr Mann due to problem with their US made supplies.  this AUG is one of those.

donít know, something to do with the casting. Honestly someone else will have to chime in on that one for more details.

To my knowledge...VLTOR receivers used too tight tolerances...
