Does IWI use standard or fiscal year quarters le the goverment?  Mid 4th quarter would be August if they used fiscal quarters! (Wishfull optimistic thinking, if the glass is half full, go to the tap and fill it the rest of the way)!

Oh well, just as good - kind of short on cash right now anyway.

At least IP43 flopped so I don't have to worry about that this year.

Hopefully they will get some guns out in the hands of reviewers before November

Man, the spot in my safe where my KSG previously stayed will be empty for a lot longer than I had hoped...

I wonder if it is a tooling issue or if they are having production issues.  Either way I am more than a little bummed. Sad

Yep, same with me. I sold my KSG as well in preparation for the TS12. I think they are focusing most of their efforts into a successful launch of the T7 to meet demand and not do what another company had recently done. If that's the case that's fine by me as I want one of them too.

Is the IDF taking delivery of the TS12 in any quantity?
Just thinking about reasons for the delay other than production issues which IWI wouldn't be business smart to disclose in detail.

Would be great if they at least had some to run at the Bullpup shoot this year....

I was informed by a dealer that the reason for the delays on both the T12 & the 7 were that mods had to be made. The 7 I am told after 20K rounds had issues with the bolt. As to the 12, I am told that the whole rifle in some way was completely redesigned. Time will tell.

I doubt it as the T7 hasn't hit the shelves yet and that's the higher priority, but then again I hope I'm wrong.

Oh man, you got my hopes up!  I check this board every few weeks hoping for new information.  I saw the post from last week and thought - 'Finally, it's coming!'   But no  Sad

I'm pretty sure it won't be here this year.  Sounds like the Tavor 7 has been pushed back until March 2019 (assuming no more issues with it), and the TS-12 is probably 4-6 months behind that (assuming they maintain their previous estimates).  If I had to guess, I'd say 3rd quarter of 2019.  But I sure hope I'm wrong!!

Anyone at shot show?  Any update on the TS-12?  From the one range day video I saw, it looked like they didn't have the Tavor 7 OR the TS-12. Sad Seems like a step in the wrong direction after having them both last year.

I asked somebody to check at the booth and the answer was 3 to 4 months from now.  We can only hope!

Thanks for the info!  Not what I was hoping for, but about what I was expecting.

I just really hope it is actually released in 3-4 months and not postponed another year.  I sold my KSG a year ago in anticipation for the TS-12. Sad  Live and learn.

Found a video on youtube of someone talking to a IWI rep.

They said they originally designed the TS-12 for 3 magnum shells.  Shooting cheap white box Winchester through it wasn't enough to cycle the action.  They pulled it back to redesign it to handle those lighter loads, since they believe that is what people are going to be shooting the most out of it.  He said it "needed a complete overhaul, and I believe we got it figured out."

A team from Israel and a team from the US were testing the new version last week and said after 50-100 round break-in it would shoot white box ammo just fine.  You can still run 3" magnums, but you can now also run the cheap bulk stuff.

Glad they are getting to work with all ammo from the beginning.  I too will probably be shooting cheaper bulk shells through it, so glad to hear it will work with them!
