I e-mailed manticore arms about running another run of the Talon scope mount.  I hope they are okay with me bringing this here!

They are considering doing another, short production run this year.  I think if we made enough noise on the forum here we could for sure make it happen.  If you are interested in buying one please post here.  Also if you have one please post pictures!

Thanks

I assume it would be for the A3 which looks like their last production run was.

I thought Sven said he had a few prototypes for the M1 receiver last time this came up.

I have 2 of the Talon Mounts, one for my MSAR and One for my AUG A3. I would be VERY interested in another one either for an AUG, either an A3 or an M1.

I FAR prefer the smooth top ring as opposed tot he one with the 10/22 sights if anyone is taking notes.

I do not see any "tsk" up above so I assume that was me you were asking?

Sadly, I am far from home doing staff support for an Army mortar exercise.

I'm inclined to agree with you here.  If I was really worried about backup sights I would buy an A3 scope with the rail on the top.

Sorry tsh, autocorrect is a pain. You just became "tag" a moment ago but I caught it!

I have a couple of scope mounts and I will check them out and see if I can understand your post.

I would have liked to get one for my MSAR as well but moved too late.

Gotcha! I have the smooth ring top on my open package so I will assume the same for the sealed one.
