Seems Coldboremirakle got a hold of a 18 inch 6.5 creedmoore barrel from ES Tactical.   Looks like the gas plug is made by ES tactical and isn't a mod from DT. Not sure what the groups are and distance for the paper.  But I am sure Cold Bore will be able to tell us latter on

Anyways here is the direct link to the video.

Just looking around the video.... how does a 16 mdr barrel end 2 short of extending out of   the end of the supressor forend while an 18 barrel seems to extend 2 OUT of the supressor forend? Somethings not adding until with stated barrel length there or Im loosing some marbles.

I think its more like a 20" barrel.

I have to agree it does look like a 20 inch barrel.  but I could have sworn he said it was a 18 inch barrel.    maybe I just assumed that..

JesseJames38,

Thanks for the video. I think the 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge and the Desert Tech Micro Dynamic Rifle is a good marriage, for extended-range sporting/tactical missions ---

Looking at the pictures in your article, visually there is more than 2" of difference between the two barrels (308 & 6.5).  Visually my guess is 20".  Good shooting by the way.

May want to get the tape out and check.    From my math from the provided manual of the overall lenght of the mdr with a 16 in barrel is 26.2" and overall lenght with the stock flashider is 27.75.   Which gives a lenght for the flash hider 1.55" long.   So now to figure out.   Is the 6.5creed barrel 18 inches and the stock barrel is less then 16". Or the 6.5 is longer then 18 inches.      Or perhaps neather barrel showen is a standard lenght.

Jesse

Edited to add.     I did enjoy the video and the blog of the barrel

100, I always shoot at 100 for groups, unless otherwise annotated.
