Does anyone think the tube release button is going to be difficult to push with a finger tip?
Or is it an awesome idea?
Is there a better design?

Hopefully the tube button is durable too.

It'll take getting used to.
An AR-style mag release button makes sense and must have been considered, so I'm sure one day we'll hear the reason why it wasn't possible.

For reference:
TS12 tube button and X95 mag button - could it have been done?

The tubes might get in the way, but most likely it would just be awkward to press because the tubes produce an overhang there.  If you don't have to press the button too hard, it should be fast.  It looks pretty big too, which is good.

Agreed.

I also imagine that this button operates like a see-saw.
You can depress the right side forward or the left side forward to release the tubes.
(ambidextrous)
But the middle is stationary.

That way, you don't have to depress the whole thing evenly.
Of course, I'm speculating.

As for the seesaw theory, I am likely incorrect.
From a forward photo, it appears the tube button would be depressed evenly.
