Been contemplating a re thread on my 18 barrel to 5/8x24.

Im getting a suppressor and it comes with a 5/8x24 muzzle device so Id rather get that thread pitchinstrad of buying a 1/2x28 device which is more expensive than threading the barrel for the device I already have.

Anyone done this?  Is there a reason you can or cannot rethread to 5/8x24?  I wouldnt think barrel thickness is a problem since its a .722 barrel

Ive seen the rat Worx adapter but they will only make 13x1 to 1/2x28 and Id rather pay the money for concentric 5/8x24 threads than buy an adapter and a new muzzle device and hope its gonna work

Additionally does anyone know a place that can rethread AUG barrels?  My local shop wont touch it and Adco basically said theyd make me a nice expensive thread adapter
