Around late spring I heard that Geissele could have an AUG trigger pack out by now.  Still haven't seen anything yet.  Anyone knows if it is still coming out?  Thanks.

On their subforum on AR15.com it has been a year since they posted an update.

I've pretty much given up.   If you are deferring a 2020 sear or other current option,  in liu of someone releasing a trigger pack - I don't suggest waiting.

Might be good to see if Corvus has any updates in lieu of Geissele

Hi,

We kinda have an update in this regard. But for now it is the ALG trigger.

Mid December a certified agency will do all the NATO drop tests and an endurance test with it. If it succeeds, we will start production. If not, we will do further developments.
At all self-tests we did with this system it succeeded. But we want to have the results in black and white.
The AUG is a b**** when you want to have a light and crisp trigger that is safe and reliable  Wink.

When the trigger succeeds we will also present it at SHOT Show (along with some new products).

Awesome update. I actually like the ALG trigger better than the Geisseles, so that has my interest piqued.

Great news! Will you have a booth at SHOT this year?

Should we read into this a sort of partnership between you and Steyr that could get your products into the country more readily? Right now most of your products can't be imported into the US because of their cost/value. Teaming up with SAI to help bridge that gap would really help out. Fingers crossed!

Good luck with the test.  Look forward to that crisp and light trigger.

Thank you for the update on the trigger.

Geissele has pretty much stopped replying to the AUG trigger topic at ARF.
Kind of put a bad taste in my mouth, but, that's just my opinion.  It's that they made the Tavor parts immediately and the AUG is still floating out there.  They could have sent one dude to the Bullpup shoot with ONE of the prototypes they said they were testing back in 2016:

The Aug trigger is still on the table. It is currently in the prototype phase but there is not timeline of when it will be available.

I wonder if they are waiting for the Australian rifle to be imported so they can use Magpuls and Geissele trigger packs for 922r compliance?

AUG owners have the money......just sayin'

I can't see Geissele holding back a product just for an upcoming import that may not even be as successful as the ones already imported long ago or the ones recently manufactured here. I have a Steyr Aug A3 and would buy a Geissele trigger pack if they were to release one. I don't have any complaints about the Aug trigger, but, if Geissele could design a reliable and better trigger pack, I would get one. I never trusted those Neu triggers and the other (Neu trigger alternative) modification to the Aug trigger for reliability. A Geissele product I would trust. Shooting Star also has good reviews on their triggers. I never got a chance to try out the trigger that Ratworks was supposed to bring to market.

This Atrax thing looks goofy and I have no interest in getting one.

I wonder if Corvus showed any progress for the trigger at SHOT?  Been a couple of months since their testing.

Thanks tsh77769! Thats probably because we love what we are doing ;-).

Concerning the trigger tests:
The very last day before we went to SHOT we did our last tests. And we tested the s*** out of all different AR triggers we had. We tested until the stock broke (this stock had windows cut inside for the high speed camera footage; and the crack started in in one of the corners; so no worries about your stocks ;-) ).
Sad info: No AR trigger satisfied us. But the good thing about the tests is that we have a s***load of knowledge now that can help us to build our own system. As told before. The AUG is a b**** when it comes to light and crisp reliable and safe triggers. The closest that we came with AR triggers was 5 out of 6 NATO drop tests. And some succeeded one but failed another. And now we know why. And there are some other important things that we will not post publicly. But we are putting all this info in an own system now.

Disclaimer: We do not know or claim that any of the tested triggers will fail in an AR as well! We have not tested it and it is not our business. But what is for sure that they did not satisfy us when we cut off the trigger bow and installed it in our AUG trigger pack. This is what we can proof but it has to be seen as a package.
