Using Remington as an example may not have been the best way to underscore your point given how Remington hasn't been able to produce a new winning product in years and their existing product line has come under repeated fire for lacking quality.

Kel-Tec will probably design what you're looking for in a few years, of course it won't be like the old Chevy commercialshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IocCC1-jeTY, and people will shun it because it came from Kel-Tec, but I'd almost wager they'll be the first.

Most of these bullpups are kind of piggish.

You could say the same of one of the other manufacturers mentioned in SnS's email.

I definitely agree with the point you're trying to get across. I hope somebody listens Aussie.

I also find it baffling how the bullpup platform seems to consistently weigh more than than most of its conventional counterparts. That being said if we want a lightweight bullpup I think we need to let go of the idea of quick change caliber conversions as this adds several ounces to the receiver.

Keltec has already solved this with their RDB. It weighs slightly less than 7 lbs!!
