I appreciate that IWI made a 7.62 Tavor, but I wish they had been a little more original in the design, rather than just frankensteining the X95 and the Tavor together. This one is going to take some time to grow on me.

Neither the X95 nor the SAR have an adjustable gas block or a short stroke piston like the Tavor 7.

While I doubt I will dive into the 7.62 model, Iím darn happy to see it made!

Actually never though I would even get a Tavor or x95, but, here I am.

My complaint is about the way it looks, not the function.

I think it looks just fine. The angled forearm fits with the IDF methodology on how to hold a rifle. The rest of it probably came from what they thought made the gun work well.

I like how this looks, which is funny since I don't care for the SAR and hate the X-95's aesthetics

The sooner the better. My $$ is burning a hole in my pocket. I have been waiting years for this & am fine with the way it looks.

IWI is def on track to get a Tavor 7 in my hands before DT sends my MDR, despite having been in the group buy for years. Kudos to IWI for being a kick ass company.

I thought the term for something being in the wild is when a product is released and its found in the hands of a normal ordany person and outside the contol of the manufacure?

Good looking rifle but still a lot needs to be said. I wish it was in 6.5 Creed. I see the Tavor 7,  based on the SAR and X95 taking a 2 + or - MOA gun that's already heavy, using a heavier .308 round that isn't as accurate as the 6.5. We'll see how it shoots when it comes out and hopefully it won't be a pig in lip stick.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Looks like a trade show display.

I love the bullpup but if its not a good distance shooter it would be hard to justify over an ar10 m&p that's both light and accurate if all the reviews are honest. Plus almost 1/2 the price.

Well, call me a brand whore, call me a little elitist, quality comes with a price. I have had quite a few 308 platform rifles. For me, the peak, considering price and features, And accuracy, brings about the DDM5V1.
