Well, back to the topic at hand.

Ive ordered an 18 barrel/bolt kit for my x95.
Great feedback form evryone, pros and cons and well as essential esthetics.

I thought you had a 16" X95? Did you order something different? The listing on the IWI site says that the 18.5" barrel/bolt kit is only for those guns that already have an 18.5" barrel.

I do have a x95 with a 16.5

I was told a 18.5 barrel is a drop in. Did I get bad info?

If its not compatable, what are the differences in the barrels?

I don't know all the differences. It could just be the bayonet lug. All I can tell you is what the site says.

Starting new thread


In short,  a slight modification to the handguard is all thats needed to install a 18.5 barrel in place of the 16.5
