Hello all,

I'm looking to buy an AUG A1 20" in OD Green. How long will I have to look for one? I've been searching periodically for months and haven't found anything at a reasonable price.

On the off chance you are selling one, feel free to contact me.

I don't know what you consider a reasonable price. But you should probably expect to pay $2000+ for something that isn't trashed.

And yeah, check back at places like here. But also gunbroker.

$2000 is a steal for an A1.

I'd realistically expect to pay about $2500 for an A1 that isn't beat up.

Thanks guys. I'd expect to pay 2000-2500. I'm seeing things on GB and armslist for 4000 which is crazy. I'll stay on the look out!

OK, maybe I was being generous.  Shocked Grin Several hundred north of $2000 is realistic. I bought one (20inch, green, matching, etc , etc for $2400 a while back. On gunbroker there hasn't been a lot of old AUG's recently as far back as the completed search option lets me go. One or two A2's, a few machine guns. One USR. With the A1, very few.

One pretty nice looking green, 20 incher sold for BIN at $2350 back in early March.  Another green/20inch sold fro $2390 around the same time. Then a couple folks got into a bidding war on a supposed unfired green/20incher for $4000 a couple weeks ago.

Only 3 that are currently for sale are (what you've already seen/mentioned) 2 black, 16 inchers with starting bids well north of $4000. And one gun that I guess is a factory black, 16 incher with a green stock and 20 inch barrel that has a BIN of $4100. But hasn't sold with bids well below that. All 3 have been on GB for months.

Good luch in search
