Anyone know how to lighten the trigger, or gunsmith that does the work?

No one knows anything about this?

 As to why... The trigger is 12+ pounds!!!!  I understand the idea of a heavier trigger in a self-defense gun to help prevent accidental discharges, but this is way overboard and might easily lead one to miss a bad guy and hit a non-threat.
