Could you offer a slightly modified slimmer/sleeker version of your thumb rest safety design (maybe in metal as well?) similar to the Discontinued L&R Percival Armaments El Selector ~ (https://www.bullpuparmory.com/product_p/pa-els-tavor.htm) for those of us who live in states that do not have those crazy constrictive Kalifornia laws? I'm most likely going to get a set since they are so inexpensive but would like options if available (shape/material).

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, work has been crazy. Sure I'll see if I can put something together with a thumb paddle sort of thing. I'm hesitant to print anything that requires this sort of precision in metal though. I'm not sure if the tech can print something that precise. I'm weary about the safety rattling around if too loose, or wearing down the metal if too tight. I'll look into it though.

So here's what I came up with for a paddle style safety. I still need to adjust some measurements so I haven't put it up yet.  Let me know what you think!

Jdub765,
That safety looks great. Can you make one for the left side?

This! Also any estimate on price and when this will be available on your Shapeways account?

So I lost the orig file for the safety, so I'm stuck with only the right side. The file can't be mirrored because of the different shape of the safety mounts. People keep asking me for the left side but I don't have the 3D skills to modify an STL.   I'm going to upload it to Thingiverse here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4102297
I can't submit it yet since new members have to wait 24hrs.
Let me know if anyone is able to adapt it to the left side!

Please don't give up on this! There has to be a way to edit/convert/adjust this...hopefully someone can offer some insight or help to work it out.

Your link gave me the 405 error. Can you email me the file?

Tried a bunch of different combinations of the url but nothing came up. I did find his account here ~ https://www.thingiverse.com/jdub765/designs but nothing was available...  Embarrassed

I also searched a number of verbiage combinations on the site itself and came up with nothing. Could you just make a new one Rastoff, from scratch instead?

I don't know Oner.  I'm sure I can draw it up in Solidworks, but I don't know if I can actually make the part.  I can 3D print it, but I don't think that will be strong enough.  Rest assured, I'm going to take a shot (pun intended) at this.
